This Privacy Policy covers only data collected through the Website and not any other data collection or processing, including, without limitation, data collection practices of other websites to which we link or data that we or our subsidiaries or affiliates collect offline or through websites, products, or services that do not display a direct link to this Privacy Policy.
CoreLogic collects information from visitors of the Website, including the domain names, IP and MAC addresses, browser types, and unique device identifiers of such visitors. This information includes the number of visits, average time spent on the Website, pages viewed and similar information. This information may also include usage information about the page-by-page paths you take as you browse through the Website. CoreLogic uses this information to measure the use of the Website and to develop ideas to improve the content of the Website. For more information regarding CoreLogic’s use of this information, please see the sections on “Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies” and “Analytics” below. We may combine such information with information provided by

There are times, however, when we may need additional information from you, including personal information that may be used to identify you. This information includes items such as your name, address, telephone number, and email address. The information we collect is typically used by us to respond to your inquiry, process an order or allow you to access specific account/profile information.
The term “personal data” is used in some jurisdictions in lieu of the term “personal information.” Both “personal information” and “personal data” are used in this Privacy Policy.
We may receive information about you from third-parties such as social networks (subject to the user’s privacy settings and the privacy policy of the social network), service providers which allow us to verify, enhance or supplement your information, and business partners to whom we are offering a service. We are not responsible for third-party use of information.
If you choose to share any personal information with us, we will use it in accordance with this Privacy Policy
and applicable law. We may use your personal information to: improve the Website or CoreLogic products and services; customize your experience with the Website, or to serve you specific content that is relevant to you; contact you regarding your use of the Website and, in our discretion, changes to our policies; provide you with Website-related notices; send you advertisements and marketing for CoreLogic products and services in accordance with the law; to notify you about changes to our Websites and services; send you service notices; deal with enquiries and complaints; comply with any legal or regulatory requirements and otherwise to any respond to any relevant regulator or competent authority as required by law; understand user trends and patterns; for business administration; and for purposes disclosed elsewhere in this Privacy Policy, at the time you provide your personal information, or with your consent. We may retain your personal information for as long as required to achieve the purposes, for which it was collected, in accordance with applicable law.
2.6 Sharing of information
We will only share your information with third parties in accordance with applicable law.
We may share with third-parties information that is not associated with your name or identity, such as Website usage information, non-personally identifiable demographic information, and aggregate user statistics in accordance with applicable law.
We may share your personal information with non-affiliated third-parties as necessary for us to provide the product or service you or your lender/service provider have requested of us, as permitted by law, with third party service providers so that they may perform certain services for us, or as otherwise specified herein. Such disclosures may include situations in which we are required to respond to subpoenas or other legal process, or are responding to the request of governmental authorities conducting an investigation.
We may also provide all of the types of non-public personal information listed above to one or more of our affiliated companies in connection with our services and other business purposes.
It is possible that CoreLogic, its subsidiaries, affiliates, joint venture companies, or any combination of them, could merge with or be acquired by another legal entity. In such event, or in the event of any other proposed or actual purchase, sale (including a liquidation, realization, foreclosure or repossession), lease, merger, amalgamation or any other type of acquisition, disposal, transfer, conveyance or financing of all or any portion of CoreLogic or of any of the business or assets or shares of CoreLogic or a subsidiary or division thereof, CoreLogic may share your information with third-parties.
Furthermore, and subject to your consent where required by law, we may also provide all the information we collect, as described above, to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf, on behalf of our affiliated companies or to other financial institutions with which we or our affiliated companies have joint marketing agreements. In some circumstances, we will request your consent to share your information with non-affiliated third parties, such as lenders, realtors, and insurers, so that they may offer you products and services that may be of interest to you.
The Website uses “cookie” technology to measure Website activity and to collect information such as browser type, time spent on the Website, pages visited and other information about your visit to the Website. We maintain appropriate physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your personal information. We provide information to our subsidiaries, affiliated companies, and other businesses or persons for the purposes of processing such information on our behalf, some or all of which may store your information on servers located outside of the United States.
When California customers provide personal information to a business, they have the right to request certain disclosures if that business shares personal information with third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes. Once per calendar year the customer may request that the business provide a list of companies with which it shares personal information for those companies’ direct marketing purposes, and a list of the categories of personal information that the business shares. CoreLogic generally does not sell products or services directly to individual California consumers. However, if we engage in such contact, you may request information about our compliance with this law by contacting us.
Any such inquiry must include “California Privacy Rights Request” in the first line of the description and include your name, street address, city, state, and ZIP code. Please note that we are only required to respond to one request per customer each year, and we are not required to respond to requests made by means other than through this email address or mail address.

Our Site is not intended for children under the age of 16. We do not intentionally or knowingly collect personally-identifiable information from children under the age of 16 and we request that individuals under the age of 16 do not submit any personal information on the Website. Privacy Notice: Preparation and Processing of Investigative Consumer Reports
This notice is provided to California residents. Under California law, an “investigative consumer report” is a consumer report containing information on a consumer’s character, general reputation, personal characteristics, or mode of living. CoreLogic Rental Property Solutions may compile investigative consumer reports about individuals and provide them to businesses for background screening, tenant screening, and similar purposes.
Personal Information Disclosure: United States or Overseas – In connection with its preparation and processing of investigative consumer reports CoreLogic Rental Property Solutions may transfer personal information about you to our authorized service providers and affiliates outside the United States and its territories. Such transfer will be conducted in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.

CoreLogic provides additional information to its EEA, Switzerland and UK based users to comply with data protection laws.
“Personal data” is information about you (a “data subject”) the use of which is governed by applicable data protection laws. It will include any information from which you can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as your name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or other information about your identity. Most information collected about you on the Website will constitute personal data.

For example, we may process your personal data in our legitimate interests to ensure that our Website and services are provided efficiently and in an user-friendly and personalized manner taking into account user feedback, data and profiles, unless consent is required for any such processing under applicable law. Personal data that we collect may be stored and processed in and transferred between any of the countries in which we operate in order to enable us to use the personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Personal data which you provide may be transferred to our group companies, commercial partners, suppliers or agents located outside your country as set out above. We will ensure adequate protection of personal data transferred outside of your country as required under applicable laws. For example, if you are located in the EEA, Swiss or in the UK, we may enter into model clauses with the recipient. You may contact us for a copy of the safeguards which we have put in place to protect your personal data in these circumstances.
In addition, personal data that you submit for publication on the Website will be published on the internet and may be available, via the internet, around the world. We cannot prevent the use or misuse of such information by others.
CoreLogic keeps your personal data for only as long as required to provide you with the necessary Website content and services and to carry out the processing set out in this Privacy Notice, and in line with its obligation under applicable law. This means that we will generally not keep your personal data for longer than six years following your last interaction with us, and the actual retention period will often be shorter. Data subjects may ask us for a copy of their personal data, to correct it, erase it or to transfer it to other organizations at their request. Data subjects also have rights to object to some processing including profiling and, where we have asked for their consent to process the data subject’s personal data, to withdraw this consent.

Symbility Solutions, Inc. and its subsidiaries, Symbility Solutions, GmbH and Symbility Solutions, Ltd. (collectively, “Symbility”) process personal data in relation to the use of our services and products, such as Claims Connect, Mobile Claims, Desk Adjuster, Symbility Link, Quality Connect, Video Connect, Business Intelligence and Property Analytics, along with other online services that posts this Privacy Policy. These and any subsequently added Symbility service and products shall be referred to as the “Symbility Property Applications.”
The Annex set forth at Section 12 of the CoreLogic Privacy Policy generally applies to the Symbility property applications, notwithstanding the geographic location of the policyholder or user. This Annex (Symbility Property Applications) further supplements the Annex set forth at Section 12 of the CoreLogic Privacy Policy specifically with respect to the Symbility property applications.
The Symbility Property Applications may contain links to external services, which are not part of the Symbility Property Applications. These external services are not covered by this Annex. Please refer to these third parties’ privacy policies for more information on how they process your personal data.
Symbility collects and processes the following types of personal data for the purposes set forth below.
Types of Personal Data | Explanations |
User Identification Data | User identification data includes the personal data which are used to identify the users of the Symbility Property Applications and allow them to connect to the Symbility Property Applications. Examples of user identification data include: email addresses, credentials; including password, first and last names. Users generally include our customers’ employees and agents, and in some cases, such as for Symbility Link, policyholders. |
User Generated Data | User generated data includes the data which are generated by users when using the Symbility Property Applications, such as: voice annotation, notes; and tasks, appointments, and other milestones relating to the claim management. Usage data includes electronic data generated through the usage of certain functionalities. For example, when going through a logic-based questionnaire, this creates some electronic data allowing user to go from one question to another one. User generated data may be used by our customers as part of our business intelligence function integrated in Claims Connect to generate reports and analytics. |
Insurance Claim Data | Symbility Property Applications are used by our customers to manage property claims. Therefore, Symbility processes insurance claim data in relation to such property claims, including: claim number; policyholder identifying information; calculations regarding reimbursements; status of claim management; documents updated, such as invoices; property data; repair calendar; estimates; financial costs; and invoices. Insurance claim data may be used by our customers as part of our business intelligence function integrated in Claims Connect to generate reports and analytics, or as part of Quality Connect, a tool used for re-inspection. |
Property Data | Property data refers to data associated with the properties that are affected by damages. Property data may be considered personal data to the extent they associated with a specific policyholder. Property data includes: measurements; 3D Virtual Diagramming; imagery; photos and videos of damages; and notes on damages. Whenever documents are uploaded, they may contain metadata. Metadata is data which provides information about other data, such as authors, resource type, permissions, date of creation, types, versions, characteristics of digital material, etc. |
Image and Voice Data | Some features of the Symbility Property Applications allow users to interact together through live collaboration tools, or to upload some videos and images as part of the property data. For instance, Video Connect allows policyholders to interact instantly with an insurance adjuster through live video collaboration and enables the use of policyholders’ smartphone or tablet’s camera and other integrated capabilities to capture property data. |
Communication Data | Communication data includes any personal data generated through our communication functions, or which are used for such functions. Examples include: phone numbers; email addresses; chat transcripts; notification preferences; content of communications; and image and voice data. Our communications include SMS notification, push notifications and instant messaging. For instance, in Symbility Link, policyholders can interact with other claims participants. We may also communicate with users for operational reasons such as to notify of a maintenance, in which case, we process the user’s email address to do so. |
Support and Maintenance Data | Our customers’ users have access to support services. When requesting support, a support ticket is created. Each support ticket may contain personal data such as a reference to the claim number, the cause of the support request, information about the user who made the request, and any other information shared by the user. We also provide support through phones in our call centers. When users contact us by phone, these calls are recording along: date, time, and duration of the call; receiving or sending extension; and telephone number used by the user (unless withheld by the user). Call recordings are stored in an encrypted format and are kept improving the quality of customer service, to document support requests, to follow up on their and to address any disputes. |
Customer Relationship Management | In order to manage our customers, such as for billing purposes and for other administrative purposes, we process business contact information. |
Electronic Data | The Symbility Property Applications automatically collect electronic data such as IP addresses, browser type, type of device, consents, and language preferences. |
Symbility discloses personal data to certain affiliates, such as Next Gear Solutions, LLC (“NGS”), and third-party processors who assist in the processing of personal data on Symbility’s behalf.
Symbility shares personal data with its affiliates (a) when they provide services to Symbility, such as data analytics and billings services; and (b) to facilitate technical and product support, if you have authorized it.
Symbility uses service providers to provide the IT structure needed to provide the Symbility Property Applications, such as cloud hosting companies.
Symbility uses service providers to handle support requests and call centers.
Symbility uses service providers to provide certain functionalities such as SMS notifications and live video sessions.
Symbility also uses service providers to obtain analytics and power our business intelligence functionality.
Symbility’s customers may integrate the Symbility Property Applications with third party integration partners through APIs, plug-ins and similar gateways such as Google Maps. When doing so, personal data may be transferred between Symbility and such integration partners. Please refer to their respective policies for further information.
Symbility may also share your personal data with other third parties in the following circumstances:
The location in which personal data is processed is determined by our contract with our customers. In general, Symbility hosts personal data in the jurisdiction corresponding to where our customers are located. For instance, if you are in the European Union, we process your personal data in the European Union unless our otherwise provided in our contract.
Symbility’s service providers may process personal data in different locations than our customers, subject to our agreements with our customers. Personal data may be transferred to countries outside of your jurisdiction, including Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom, for processing and storage purposes. For instance, our affiliate, NGS, is located in the United States. If applicable, we ensure that adequate safeguards are in place before doing so, such as by entering into agreements with such third parties and performing due diligence on their information security and privacy practices.
Symbility holds several certifications to ensure that personal data is protected in a consistent and verifiable manner. Our data hosting providers all hold industry-recognized certifications. We perform technical testing such as penetration testing. We enforce technical and organizational measures such as encryption, access control and log monitoring. Our employees are trained regularly. Our compliance systems cover the handling of personal data in accordance with applicable laws.
You should direct requests regarding your personal data to our customer (i.e. the organization which provided with access to the property application(s)). If we receive such a request, we will advise our customer accordingly and obtain their instructions prior to responding, unless we are required to respond under data protection law.
Please note if you request deletion of your data, some or all of the functionalities available within the Symbility Property Applications may not be available to you. Similarly, to the extent we are processing your personal data based upon consent and you withdraw that consent, some or all of the functionalities available within the Symbility Property Applications may no longer be available to you.
We will respond to your request within a reasonable timeframe. We may request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity prior to processing your request. Applicable law may require or permit us to decline your request. If we decline your request, we will tell you why, subject to legal restrictions.
